Here at Ecky Thump! we are hosting three open categories throughout the day. These are very loosely based on three distinct historical time periods in order to facilitate fun and varied fencing.

MEDiEVAL : Longsword, federschwert, messer, arming sword, off-hand rondel dagger or off-hand bucklers (used alongside messer and arming sword).

RENAiSSANCE : Dussack, rapier, sidesword, a case of sideswords, and off-hand parrying daggers, cloaks and bucklers for rapiers and sideswords.

REVOLUTION : Basket hilted broadsword and backsword, sabre, spadroon, colichemarde and smallsword.

The three tournaments are run sequentially in order to allow you to enter all three, something we highly encourage!

Each category costs £20 to enter, and if you enter all three you receive a £10 discount. Please complete the booking form below to enter.

All attendees must provide suitable personal accident and liability insurance. By submitting this form you confirm that you have an appropriate policy in place.
